I’m not interested in pretending to be somebody/something I’m not.
I come from faith, family, wide-open spaces, and sitting around the fire for hours just talking about things that really matter. The immaterial. I’m a Christian. I love my family. I love this country. I love PA and the Jersey Shore. I love Love and all of the beauty and ugly that comes along with it. I love being a witness to it's affect on those around me and really, I love writing about it.
My music is a reflection of that. It's honest and can be blunt to your ego, sometimes hopeful, sometimes pissed off, and usually somewhere in between. But most of all, it's honest. I write about love, loss, faith, growing up, screwing up, and trying to make sense of this strange life we’ve been handed.
And somewhere along the way,
I found songwriting.
I fell in love with the craft of taking all the complicated, beautiful, ugly pieces of being alive and trying to mold them into something that means something/makes you feel something. I write about the things I know:
Real love, love that stays, love that leaves, faith that gets tested, mistakes that make you a better version of yourself, how short this life really is, and how important my loved ones are.
My songs aren't always polished. But I can promise you this: Everything is intentional. Nothing is filler.
So this is what I’ve got: a guitar, curiosity, a handful of stories, the wisdom that only comes from screwing up, and a whole lot left to say.
If that sounds like your kind of music, follow along and support.
God bless,
Ethan

I believe in the raw, unfiltered truths of life played with intention, written with honesty. No polish, just the truth of the moment captured in a song
