◉ Blue
◉ Autumn Love Song
“Blue” is a song about the kind of love that asks you to swallow your pride, bite your tongue, and stay when every part of you knows you probably shouldn’t. It’s about carrying somebody through their worst moments, making excuses for them, and sticking around long after they’ve given you every reason to walk away. There’s no hero in it. Just a guy standing in the kitchen at two in the morning, staring at the same old hurt, telling himself tomorrow might be different. Sometimes loving somebody means holding on. Sometimes it means admitting you’ve been holding on too long.
“Autumn Love Song” is about a love that arrives almost too late. The kind of love you waited so long for that by the time it finally finds you, winter is right around the corner. There’s something almost foolish about planting flowers in the autumn rain, but that’s what love does. You put your hands in the dirt, push through the weather, and plant something beautiful knowing there's a chance it may not survive. The chorus is the heart of that plea. Asking not to be treated like something sharp or fragile but as something weathered that loves with serious weight. The song lives in that tension between warmth and cold, hope and resignation, holding on and letting go. It’s about knowing the season is changing and the clock is running out, but choosing to plant something anyway.
